Stealth External 12V battery

I recently got a Stealth V330 (STC-WD3MT-RT) I also got the 12v external battery as well. I charged the battery overnight as instructed. I plugged in my V330 and everything seemed to be working fine.

The next day I plugged it in again to do a photo test and it didn't work. The camera wouldn't turn on so I put in some C cells and the camera fired right up. However the 12v still doesn't work. I'm going to be calling Stealth about it and probably sending the battery back. Has anyone else ever had this problem??

Do you have a volt meter where you could test the battery fully charged?
Does sound like a bad battery.

recharge it, & check all conections free of corrosion.,and clean with a small wire brush if needed. any parts store should be able to test it if you do not have one.try putting water based lubricant on the conections, W-D 40, or they make a grease just for battery conections your local parts store can help you with.sounds like a bad connection, or factory battery, which they should replace if you have your sales receipt.good luck, dont rule out an exchange on the whole unit if need be, may be a bad unit internaly all together,.

Wow, how absolutely stupid of me. I metered phone wires for almost a year and a half and I never thought of doing that... thanks for the input!!!
