"STICKER"

Ghost

Life Member
Here is a buck Shredder and I had a close encounter with in July while sneaking up to view a bean field.

He is very fresh out of velvet as you can still see the blood on his antlers.

I have named this one "Sticker".

Nice pict Ghostie, He looks like he could be pretty old. Greyish features and rippled body yet his forehead isn't real dark and neck doesn't join his brisket as one. Camera flash and angle might be deceiving. How old did he look in the field.

There was one more picture of him three hours later on the other side of the fence as he headed back to his cover.

That is a sweet buck. I like his bladed G-2 on the left side. Lots of character in his rack. Good luck with him!

Oh man that is a nice buck. I like the character. Good luck on him this fall, hopefully we'll get to see an even better picture of him in the Harvest Forum

The picture was taken 80 yards from the Double Bull that was set up three weeks ago for Erin's (12 year old daughter) youth season. The blind sits in a thick edge of the bean field and "Sticker" was in a corner staging area that leads to the field.

The beans are turning yellow very fast now and I am quite concerned they will leave the field for "greener pastures"!

I do have more than one ace up the sleeve though. Two weeks ago this field was a sure thing.....now I'm not as sure. May have get set up in the White Oaks with her since the acorns are now dropping.
