I dropped this nice gobbler at 9:43 a.m. this morning, there was another tom with him. They were 27 yards away, slowly coming to my hen clucks & purrs.

This fine old firearm was made in England circa 1850, it is a Dean Double Barrel 12 ga.

The Load: 90 grains ffg, 1 ¼ oz. of mixed 7 ½ & 5 shot to the head and neck.

How the heck did I miss this post until now?
Anyway, Congrats Ron. That's a fine bird and old front stuffer.
I wish I could find an old fence or coral like that around where I hunt for pics. Make for a great backdrop.

I congratulate everyone on their turkey harvest; and deer harvest, as well as their shed finds.

However my turkey harvest post has had 102 views as of this date and only 8 member’s comments. Thanks to those of you who posted. And to those of you who viewed this post and couldn’t even leave a :way: I ask what gives guys?

I appreciate you comment Jay, you are after all the only moderator or administers that has acknowledged my turkey harvest.

Perhaps I have been working way too hard on this website! :(
