Not a doctor BUT I gotsta think that is a disease, possibly a mis-carriage? Or some kind of digestive disease or something?

*Or it could be that she's like most of the guys I know, sits in front of the TV and eat and drink too much?

Mis-carriage that didnt come out. I would put money on this. I've seen cows do the same thing, then a guy has to pull the dead calf /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif

Chance of dying is a lot better than pushing out a dead calf, for two reasons. 1)is the reason it didn't come out in the first place (low hormones, stuck, etc) 2)eventually the nasty deadness will rupture and put toxins in the blood of momma. Once that happens death will be fairly quick, with the liver shutting down. Not a glorious way to go out, imo.

If this doe was bred during the rut, she would have had at least one dead fawn in her for almost 2 months...I would think she would be dead right now if that was the case. I don't think the buck doe ratio is so bad that she would have missed two cycles but maybe some other strange circumstance may have caused her to breed late. I'm sure she'll be coyote food. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
