That is EXACTLY what it looked like over Geneva last night. I tried to take a couple of pictures but they just didnt turn out very good. It was a pretty cool site. That cloud formation was over us and to the west. To the east of us was a HUGE rainbow that went from north to south. We got about 4 inches of rain with some wind and hail. Gotta love this midwest weather at this time of year.

Awesome picture Shovelbuck. Those are the kind of clouds that look really cool but make you a little nervous at the same time! Thanks for sharing!

I saw those very same clouds here in Clarinda yesterday afternoon. They were really different looking. Wish I had thought of taking a pic of them with my digital......Duh!+

Cool pic shovel. If I saw the sky like that I would have been more than a little freaked out. I don't really like storms that much.

Awesome pict!!! I've done a fair amount of painting and those are the kind that if you'd try to reproduce them they'd look fake. We had some crazy weather blow through for the Rend. but nothing as cool as that. Sam and I are storm spotters and have never seen clouds like that...Thanks for sharing, Julie
