Wow, how about that storm, I spent over $200 buliding my deer blind, and it had it all, but last night it blew away, so if anyone in tama county finds a blind, please let me know

Chip,
I couldn't for the life of me figure out what that was that went flying by my house last night. I live in Iowa county so if I were you I would start looking in Johnson county.

Finders keepers. I live in south east Linn. I'll look for your blind this afternoon. Anybody in Cedar County finds the cat that blew away from here, remember, finders keepers. She answers to "Slick Kitty". Oh yeah, and you can have the three toms that were chasen her around too.

I put a lot of time into, lots of fun, wish I could have used it, it was 8X6 7tall, covered in burlap Como, used Brown Tarp pulled tight for the roof, and a wind breaks,
Had two bow hooks, 6 shooting windows, that could be closed with more camo burlap.
To hold it down, I drove into the ground 4 two foot long 2 X 4 and screwed them to the blind,
The power of mother nature is amazing, or my building skills are in question

iowachip,
I'm sure your building skills are good the way it sounds it was one heck of a blind. It's to bad that it happened. Maybe you'll be able to get something else up before season.
