Saw a tom in a field this a.m. showing off to some hens. The time is getting closer and closer! Last year, the Sat. morning of the Classic, I heard quite a few gobbles when I left my house for D. Moines. I will be listening the next few mornings before work.

Cool....I've been hearing limited gobbling in the mornings.

We will have to spend some mornings in the Double Bull this Spring together.

saw 3 gobblers this afternoon near Dallas City IL strutting with a large group of hens. Just around the corner fellas.

Had a tom strutting for hens, nearly in my backyard. Got out my box call and mouth calls and gave him some clucks and purrs. Man did he get fired up!
