STS system and Hoyt

I did a search on here but I couldn't answer my question. I was thinking about puting an STS system on my Trykon. Since I would have to buy the front mounted system, is there a way to use the STS and also still leave on my stabilizer?

You should be able to. I still utilize my stabilizer. The mounting bracket for the STS comes with a mount to allow you to use your stabilizer. I covered this bracket with heat shrink so it kept everything black and pretty! But you shouldn't have any problem at all. You will be amazed at how dead the Trykon is with that STS on there... it is AWESOME.

Here are a couple pics:

Great Pic. Shows what I was talking about. I covered that silver mount with black heat shrink. I also cut the extra few inches of bar off that sticks out past the mount. Really looks sharp, and is less prone to hang up on something.

Does the STS really help? My Trykon doesnt seem to have much hand shock. I did have to ditch the factory silencers and put a different style in which made it alot quieter. Before that it sounded like a snare drum

It makes it completely dead. Quiets it down as well... you may even notice a couple feet per second increase as well. Try one out, I think you will pleasantly suprised.

I also ditched the string stabilizers and put on a cat whisker near the lower limbs. Helped a lot, no string noise now.

Aaron,
Go ahead and use the STS and then use the ear plugs that came standard with your hat and Trykon. That may help...

Oh Chicken, I didnt say anything about my bow being slow, ugly or crappy. And I didnt say anything about 2" of penetration(which I am sure you are used to), I know that comes standard with a Switchback.

For fear of this regressing back to the tires (pizza cutters, skins) that are on my suburban I will leave several of the comments hanging over the plate and I will take them yard during the next chapter meeting of the IWSEIA.

My STS is a little different from your guys'. Here's some pics of my STS. I just got mine back the other night and am I impressed with this bow. Smoking fast, whisper quiet, and absolutely no shock what so ever. (That's for you limb...

) I've shot the switchback and I've shot the tribute. Both are great bows but I love this trykon. When I went to pick mine up he said they chrono'd another guys trykon at 320 fps. That's fast.

Only downfall with the trykon would be weight. Looks are great. It was a toss-up between the trykon and tribute but I own three Hoyts so I figured I'd keep it in the family. I wish it were October.
