The Iowa game was just coming on this AM when my wife said “coyote in the back yard”. We have been seeing a young yote several times a week for the past few weeks. There are tracks up to the house and it kinda freaks her out to have a yote this close. I had the Bushmaster Stubby upstairs for another issue (see PMA) so I was ready. I kinda knew where the yote was headed. I grabbed Stubby and went out on the back deck. I kinda hunkered down behind a plant and sure enough the yote trotted right out of the path. I stood up and squeaked. It stopped, I sighted, I pulled the trigger, Stuby barked and Mr. Yote is takin a dirt nap.

So hopefully we will continue to see these:

well done, Bonk. While the turkeys are certainly thankful, I'm sure that yote was up to the house looking for a cat to eat...so ya might have yourself a catch 22

I need some of that justice, coyotes killed my little dog this summer and now they are hunting my beagle.
