I have two areas in the timber where I can plant food plots and in between them I'm putting clover. I was wondering what would work best in those plots? Just clover for now then add Brassicas/Oats/Winter Rye in August?

This is planted to clover already, just wondering your thoughts. I'll add pictures of the main areas too.

Small areas, with lots of trees like that. Clover might be all I do. and the rye cereal mix from dbltree. With that small of area, tree competition, etc - I don't know if turnips & radishes would turn out well? Could try but I'd plant them at a low seed volume and get fertility crazy high if you want a shot at them growing decent

Agree on staying with the clover. I've got a similar spot that deer graze 24/7/12. Mostly does, but that ensures enough buck traffic during rut to make it interesting.
