Has anyone seen or heard about the 260" 30+ nontypical that was taken just north of Council Bluffs about 15 miles, i've haven't been on for awhile and didn't know if it circulated yet we seen a pic of it the last week of season but didn't know if it was posted yet? He's a hog
 
No I havent seen a pic yet but would love to. Also heard it had around 40-42 pts and was scoring in the 300 range. But you know how stories change the more they are circulated. I was told it was taken around the Honey Creek/Crescent area and with a bow.
Let us know if ya hear anymore about it.
 
Update: A friend of my dads knows the guy who shot this deer. It does have 42 pts and only scores around 260.
He is supposedly bringing it to the deer classic this year and has it hidden out until then.
Cant wait to see it.

Yeah I hear what your sayin, but this friend of dads is a close friend and a reliable source. He works for FS in Underwood, Ia and does alot of spraying for the farmers, he also hunts alot of the same ground we do. So we do trust his word!
 
I measured a buck from somewhere between Omaha and Sioux City last week that went 230" gross and 217" net with 24 points. I have pics but for his privacy I am not going to post any pics or anymore details. He is thinking about bringing this to the classic as well. It was a shotgun deer.
