Swarovski EL binos

That's what I'm saving for.....an at80hd! With the 20-60x zoom. Boing!

If the theres no scratches on the glass, those binos are fine. Good purchase, I wouldnt worry about sending them anywhere.

I hear you on the 80HD. As much better as these EL's are than my regular binos, makes me wonder how much better the 80HD would be than my B&L 70mm. Better glass + bigger objective = better view I would think. From what I have read on the birding websites, a fixed eyepiece will give you a brighter and wider field of view than a variable at the same power. Not sure why though, fewer lenses?. I think I would be happy with a fixed 20X or 25X. I have no problems counting tines at 1/2 mile with 20 power, I would just like another 15 minutes of light that the 80HD might provide. $2K though, WOW!

I'm thrilled with the binos for now. Cost me less than my Outback and will last alot longer. They came in a nice aluminum case with the 2X doubler. Didnt know they came in a set like that.
