Tag?

That's what I thought. Had a friend tell me no. Got a piece of gnd that the owner only wants bow hunting done so thought I'd double check. Thanks

I thought a muzzy tag was for muzzy only? Wouldnt make much sense if you could use a bow? JMO Not for sure though

I wasn't 100% but it makes sense to me being as though a bow is a downgrade in weapon and not giving you an advantage. I'd be using my muzzy if I could but this farmer wants bow only.

I had to educate a guy at work a few weeks back about the late muzzy season. He was wanting to do some bow hunting during the Christmas break but didn't know how to get another bow tag since his statewide was already filled.

Legal method of take. Page 25 of the regs. Muzzleloader, archery, handgun. All legal.

Yep. Some die hard bowhunters have been taking their bows out late season for years and using this as their second bow tag. While I like to think I am a die hard bowhunter, I welcome the change and take the smokepole but do sometimes find myself carrying the bow too. That is a pain in the arse but I still do it at a couple of the easy to get to spots I hunt.
