Tags Question

I was watching an episode of Whitetail Properties, where the host was in southern Iowa. He shoots a really nice buck with his bow, but it wasn't one of the two they were after. He sort of shrugs it off and says that it's not a big deal, as he has 2 more tags. He didn't specify which type of tag, but I didn't think it was possible to kill three bucks in Iowa in one season???

Bow tag, Gun tag, Landowner's tag.

Not to mention buying an anterless tag and party hunting during shotgun season - unlimited.
