I challenge you all to plant a tree in memory of Paul this spring or anytime. Time to plan now and get it ordered. As we do let's post up pictures here in his memory!

Funny, I kinda feel like most of the hundreds of trees I have already planted on my farm carry on his memory because I read so much of his advise before planting them.
But, I think I will plant one specifically for him this spring.

Great idea. We plant about 3000 every spring. I'll make sure to send a prayer to his family while we are planting.

Love the challenge! We've got a project in plan for this spring/summer. We are planting some switchgrass we purchased on Paul's auction and also planting some trees we're starting from rootmakers this year. This area of the farm will be called "Knoxville". Hope to see many big bucks calling Knoxville home in the future!

Great idea...I think I will do the same. Perhaps a pair of Northern Red Oaks (that I have coming from Missouri DC) on top of our ridge overlooking the farmland below....
