The deal of the year!!

Went to Gander Mountain last night and walked by the 4x4 "Block" targets and saw a price tag of 39 bucks!! I did a triple take! I then realized they were "blemished"...big whoop...they had some slight imperfections. The one I got had a 1 inch square chunk out of one of the lower corners where you wouldn't shoot anyway!

Don't know if Gander has moved into Iowa or not, but if so, check it out to see if they have any if you are in need of a target! Maybe other stores have blemished ones also? I should have bought more than 1 at that price!

What store location - I am headed to the Bemidji area over the weekend and I usually try to make a visit to that store location. Otherwise, I will also be driving by the s. Minneapolis and St. Cloud stores on the way up.

BJ - the St. Cloud store, but as of 2 nights ago, I bought 2 more of the last 3 they had. I think they had 3 left of the larger 4x4 block for 59 bucks. I'm guessing the last one for 39 is gone.

No, just a quick visit to my father-in-laws cabin on Cass Lake. Great place but 400 miles is a long way for an extended weekend. I wish it was 200 closer but the drive past St Cloud is great once you start into the trees. Wife and kids left a couple days ago but I am saving my time off for another activity later this year
