I was in the shop the other night working on a shed and kept looking at my old Laser Mag compound thinking........that riser would sure make a nice recurve.

It does!!!!
An allen wrench and about ten minutes gave me a sweet shooting, mag handled recurve.
Now I'll be able to ask questions like....what drop away rest should I use? Or, What sight is best?
I am amazed what a simple swap it was and man does it shoot!

Whenever I shot My Samick with the wood riser, my bow elbow was so sore from shock I couldn't shoot it again for awhile. So it had pretty much just sat around collecting dust.
I shot the heck out of this bow yesterday with the Samick limbs and no pain at all. I'm not about to hang up the longbows, but it's nice to have another bow to fool around with.
I'm even thinking that I should get some of those "Arrows without a Soul" IE Carbons, for it.

Jay,, Glad it's being good to your elbow.. If you want some heathen arrows, I have a few you can try.. Vanes or feathers
