The floods

This weekend me and my brother went out and went bowfishing after the water went up on saturday. We came home with 16 carp after 3 hours of bowfishing!! the total weight was 140 pounds. not bad. Than sunday came and we got up at 7 and went out. By 730 we shot two carp and went back home because we broke our arrow on a fish. We cleaned up went to church and headed back out. We were back in the flooded feilds at 10. we came home at 2 with 22 carp weighing 200lbs!!! the total was 340 lbs with only one bow we shared. thought id share.

Hope you like Carp, thats a lot of it. Great job. Have arrowed many carp in the day here too. Usually Gramps smoked them and gave them to different people in town. Else I would have had way to many carp. Gar are fun. Coon bait

Got this guy with a recurve off a gravel road. Muddy was along to help haul it in. 18 lbs and something. Pretty big for our area of the Wapsi.

Our two biggest were 26 and 25 pounds, both around 35 inches. I drive a 93 jeep cherokee and we put a tarp in the back and filled it up level to the window. Just got back from State Track and am going out again tommorow. Just got rid of the carp stink too!!
