Tough to say. He may have just damaged the antler in the spring and it will just be like that for this year, or he may of had a injury and it will be yearly. Have you seen the deer on the hoof or have other pics to see if he is injured?
I'm thinking he has an injury because that is a lot of non-typical stuff going on there to just be from bumping it or whatever while it was growing.
I guess if I was you i would make the decison to shoot or not if you see him on the hoof, if it looks like he'll be a non-typical year after year I'd pass beacuse that could be really neat to see in a couple years(saying you don't have a lot of pressure in the area). If there is a lot of pressure I might stick him just because that would make a sweet Euro. JMO

I agree with sep0667 you might have to make that decision when you see him on the hoof. I'd maybe pass just to see if it is a one year deal or not. Would make nice euro.

I personally think he's pretty freakin cool & would shoot him without thinking twice about it!

Had a buck last night and this morning like that. He got the walk. The buck this morning was plenty healthy my guess is genetic

I have a buck just like him on my place and I have pictures of him from spring till now and he broke his main beam this May and he grew just yours so I would let him go.

I would let him blossom into either a bigger typical or a real freak of nature next year, but I'm also one of the guys who prefers a typical to a nontypical.

What Nanny said. The one eyed buck, we are hunting, looked like that in 2009 after doing a head on with a vehicle I am pretty sure. The one side looked like an octopuss and had a large green stincky chunk of skull attached to the antler. Every year he has become more massive and evened out, but the base is now growing down into his eyesocket.
