A Few Steps Ahead Of You
Well, the weekend was tough.
Windy as all Hell on saturday, and the fishing was tough, but Jon and i got into some good fishing on Sunday. Monday was more of the same....windy and cool...
but we had a great time....
then.......
on the way back to Iowa, Just north of Minneapolis....
you know how big city driving is....
well, the vehhicle in front of me didnt stop abruptly, but very quickly slowed down. i missed by inches, but then we heard tires screeching behind us, i looked in the rearview mirror just in time to watch my boat getting pushed up on the back of my truck.
"The Green Hornet, Tournament Series" took the brunt of the Van behind us, and fortunately we all escaped any injury.
However, TGH,TS. is probably totaled....
i realize the damage that it recieved may not be visually as bad, but where it sustained damage is detrimental, and probable will not see the water again. the trailer.....all that is left is a heap of scrap....junk.
but any how, we had a great time up north, didnt catch a ton of fish, but Jon and i had tons of fun.
i included a couple pix of our catch any way....
the pike were small, but still fun to catch......some of the bass were nice as well.
but the weather had the big fish uncooperative....
better than work any day!!!
