It is going to be a good fall!
Anyway, I said come the coronation and we will look later. Andrew was quite distracted at the homecoming coronation, but his brother (Jake) did win, so we were very happy for him.
Time to look for the deer, we didn't find as much blood as we thought. With coyotes in the area, it was not the best idea to leave the buck overnight, but we had no choice.
After losing blood, we looked everywhere, except one little field road east of the woods...sure enough there he lay right in the middle of the grassy field road. It was a good shot, just a little back, he went 200 yards.
It was Andrew's best buck (125 5/8). We were all very happy a nice buck and homecoming king all within an hour!!!
