The Old Apple Tree

This is one of my favorite places for a camera. I've never gotten that one "great" picture of a monster here, but I've been entertained by all sorts of critters that frequent this Old Apple Tree.

So is that rape in the pics as well?
I'd be happy with bucks like that running around in front of my cam.

Great posts. My wife and I have ordered pear and apple trees this year for just this reason. We'll probably keep ordering them every year for quite a while. I think they draw early season deer better than anything else out there!

Looks like the buck "dis-ing" you is the same as the one just starting to poke through his velvet.
Cool pics, I saw a few turkeys just a little bigger then those on the 7th or 8th last week. 3rd clutch? or just a really late 2nd?

cool pics i cant ever remember seeing turkeys that small this late they better put on some pounds soon.

Very nice photos! /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

Is the date correct on the photos? I ask only because those poults look pretty small for this time of the year.

Iowa's number one resource for the whitetail deer.

Wow, those are pretty small poults!! Just think, in about 2 weeks you can slap down $23 bucks and shoot one with your bow!! /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif Hopefully that hen had two clutches this year or something, but if that is indicative of the turkey hatch this year then I doubt many of them survive the winter.

Nice pics otherwise.
