The Red Rocket

It's been nearly 2 1/2 months since Dad died and today I finally got his target bow out to shoot. I always joked with him that in order for his bows to kill something it'd have to be up to me to get the job done. Well, in Kansas I took his black PSE Supra and killed 2 gobblers in 30 seconds. This year in Iowa my goal is to try and kill something with his Bowtech Constitution. Fortunately I found a "bowhunter" stabilizer in the case because the 3 footer for target shooting would be awkward in the Double Bull. I cranked the poundage up and holy crap can this thing zip an arrow! Henceforth it shall be known as "The Red Rocket".

The problem is that 15 inch Surelok sight... the scope in the housing makes sighting a pain but I'll work on it.

Muddy, I think it is nice that you are honoring your father by using his equipment lik eyou are. I am sure that makes the successful hunts that you will have, and have already had, much more memorable and meaningful.

At least you can rest assured knowing that your Dad is still shaking his head at you.

That looks like quiet the rig.

Red Rocket........ lol that is hilarious. Isn't that what they call a male dogs peter :moon::D
