The Storm

Looks like the deer on the farm I hunt, decided to bed down along north edge of the corn field right along the timber line while the snow came through. Figured they would have bedded down back in the woods along a ravine. Never seen this before. Anyone else see similar sign today?

Some years back I saw a similar situation; all of the beds (about 9 or 10) were in a line running east and west facing an open field to the north during a 12 to 14 hour storm with 40+ mph winds and stinging snow. With
all the ditches and cedars that we have plus south facing slopes, I thought they would have been anywhere else but on that edge.
