Anytime Chris and Risto. The 2 next to the big rub have huge spurs, bigger than any we shot this year, and one has 2 thick beards. One of the birds in the other field has real long spurs, the others are 2 year olds.
 
I will agree that they have a sense of the dates of the season. I told somebody the only reason I filled my archery tag on the last day was because of the leap year and the turkeys didn't know it. The extra day may have thrown him off and thought he was safe.
