Well I blew it this morning. Had a nice buck come in. Watched him for about 20 minutes. Finally I thought he was right where I wanted him. I drew back and let one fly. Watched it fly an inch under the sweet spot. Used my 30 yard pin when I should have put the 40 on him. I guess the positives are it was a clean miss and I seen lots of deer before and after the shot. Unfortunately I can't find my arrow but hope to go out at nightfall and look for a lit knock. Maybe its time I round up some money and buy a range finder.

that sucks, rangefinders are a very handy tool. had the same thing happen twice before i bought mine. also you could set up markers around your stand at certain yardages to get a quick reference if its a place you hunt often.
