I asked a site trail cam master, Ghost, for some advice about cams on scrapes and set it out about 1/2 mile from the house Monday night. I pulled the sucker first thing this a.m and had pics of over 12 different bucks, some spikes, some 110-130 class stuff and these guys. One is a repeat offender and the other is a new guy that is also fairly decent, not a monster but definately in that "alright" category.
Here is the repeat offender.

Here is the other one that is alright.

Time to take this trail cam thing on the road and away from home, my little vman cam is off to the big woods and the pine ridges.

Damn, I have my camera on a scrape right now. it has been there for a week and this is making me want to go and get it.

Be very careful, it's very addictive. I started a little over a year ago and already have 4 cams.

Great pics! I didn't think I would get into it that much. I have three cams now and want a couple more. Thanks for sharing those Sak bruisers!

15,000 pictures in 6 months with two cameras.........very addictive

I agree it is about time. I want to see some of those monsters you are growing up there. Good luck with the cam and share often.

Great pics, Kaare! And yes, it is fun.....

Today, I pulled a trail cam that is film based. It should have rewound after it hit 24 pics. The display was flashing that it had exceeded the film capacity. Walking away from the tree I peeked inside the camera and slammed it shut after seeing that the film hadn't rewound.

I took it into the basement and tried to force the camera to rewind in the test mode and it took about six times to get it all spun back. I dropped the film off for processing tonight but don't hold much hope.

So yes, this can be fun IF you buy good equipment! I think you are taken care of.
