The turks. have been pounding the snot out of my small clearing and yard the last few weeks. Luckily I had my camera in my truck as I pull up my drive. These are a couple mature birds out of five that I saw along with some hens. Can't wait til' Monday.

I remember thinking that my first time Spring hunting. Bird flew off roost and I had two choices, shoot him or get run over.

Never been that easy again.

Let me start off by saying that I created the title of this post with just a hint of sarcasm, too bad there's no "sarcasam emoticon" to attach to it. I'm fully aware just how tricky and tough some birds can be. That being said, If I do stick one early in the week you can bet I'll post a picture of it here with Muddy's name attached to it.
