THIS WEATHER SUCKS

I've been hunting kind of hard this week and I could have just as well stayed home, or worse, gone to work...... NOT

Havn't paid much attention to the weather in the rest of the state but up here it I think it needs to get drier and colder to get these critters moving and so the farmers can get the rest of the corn out.

On a side note: I did have the 10 I passed on early this year walk by again. This time at 15 yards. I don't know if I can let him go a 3rd time. I'm starting to get a itchy trigger finger.

same situation over here in SD. Only 25% of the corn has been harvested and today there is a high of 75. Pretty frustrating.

I can't complain, snow covered landscape, -10 celcius ( not sure what that is in farenheit) Bad for some farmers, still crop out, it's staying out now! SHED JACKPOTS!!!

Weather sucks here in Kansas too. Last two nights I dressed in nothing but boxers and tank top under my ultralite scent blocker and still thought I was gonna have a heat stroke. Pretty bad when its oct. 28th and youre sitting in the stand listening to tree frogs and swating mosquitos. Cold front this weekend!

It was hot last night, heard the frogs also. Getting caught up on homework today so I can hunt all weekend. Cold front should help out the hunting.

I agree about the weather! I sat for 6 hrs last night...without seeing a single deer in the timber. Temp here was around 70 degrees last night, today it's going to top out at 80.

I am looking forward to Sunday and monday.....I should be able to get out now of a morning and do some hunting after the stinking time change. Good luck to all in the next couple of weeks...it should start to rock any second now!!!!

Hopefully with Pheasant Season opening this Sat. it will keep the deer moving all day.

Good point there Buckshot - unfortunately I won't be hunting deer OR pheasants....stuck at a wedding this weekend.

Decide to work Sat and take tuesday off instead! Starting Sunday i will be able to hunt right through the 14th...should be awesome. 7days in MN then off to IL for 8 days.

I will be out in my tree on the Allamakee/Winneshiek county line on Wednesday morning thorugh Sunday. Looking forward to the cool down next week. Was not able to hunt this weekend so the weathers timing worked well for me.

Im ready for this weather to change also. 80 degrees here in SE Nebraska at noon. Im off from the 3rd to the 13th hope for cooler temps, Im ready for it!!
