Wow, I laughed out loud when I saw the worst, but I know that it is not funny to you. Good thing he is more concentrated on squirrels than on your trail camera. And at least he's wearing orange.

Ya, that's public ground. Almost the exact spot my harvest pic was taken last season. The 30 sec video that came after it didn't look like he seen the camera. Plus it's up a locust tree and I get damage everytime I change my card. Might have scared him off.

He's lucky a bird didn't fly over and poop in his mouth. Is that one of them Hmungs?

I saw your damn camera, looks like squirrel nest from 300 yards away in scope of my 30-06. Your lucky I miss! I came over looking for squirrel peices.

At least he has orange on. Most in our area just wear camo all the time. I have had some pretty damn interesting hunts on public when the small calibur starts and I am sitting in a tree fully camo'd.:mad:

Oh yeah, great buck. That would be a fantastic public land buck.

I certainly hope to be getting some daytime pics of him soon and that he sticks around once the adjacent cornfield comes out. The drag will certainly suck, but I'll take the pain if I get a shot at him...

I bet he sticks around, those squirrels he's after will certainly be feeding out in the cornfield once its picked. haha. Great buck and good luck.

Nice thing is is that the buck went by a couple days after the squirrel hunter so the guy didn't spook him to bad. My dad was hunting public last year and kept hearing 'pew pew pew' and it kept getting closer and closer. He said eventually he saw the hunter and let him come close and the guy got within about 20 yards before my dad took his hat off and started waving it at the guy to get his atttention to not shoot towards him. The guy got really startled, said "I sorry" turned and left lol. It was an Asain guy too.

Hmong are impressive, persistent killers. The good news is that you should find the sheds, there will be no squirrels left to chew them up. ;)
