Three beam buck?

Anybody see pictures of the deer that was shot in Iowa that has three beams, something like 33 points? The third beam has 3 or 4 points. There was a article in the paper last weekend. It stated that it wouldn't be eligible for any of the record books because they don't allow for scoring a third beam, but in my eyes, that makes it a better trophy. How many hunters can claim to have bagged a three beam buck?
Did I miss the post here?

The paper listed the county (I thought maybe southern Iowa, not sure though). I think it was in the Sunday Des Moines Register. I'm not sure of the county, let alone the town.

A third main beam doesnt exclude a deer from the books. From what I've heard it is actually a whole third antler with its own separate base, which I think they consider a freak, almost the same as if there was no typical frame to a nontypical deer.

It was down by Redoak somewhere. I've got a three beamer on the wall at home. Only about 1.5" long but still pretty cool. Completely separate on the skull. He would have shed three antlers when he shed.

three beamers are excluded from B&C, which makes no sense to me! why they can't just except bucks such as these and do away with deductions is beyond me

What about Safari Club International? They seem to score every inch of bone. But to me P&Y, B&C, and SCI score doesn't make the deer. I just like to marvel at what nature can do.

Yes, I understood from the article that it was a third antler with it's own base. That is why I thought it was so cool. I have heard of bucks with two beams on a side, seems a little more common.
