Three bobcats

I saw three bobcats on stand last night. The came out of a den about 15 yds from me. I am guessing two young ones and momma. The two smaller ones were about the size a smaller house cat so I am guessing the bigger one was momma. They were pretty neat to see as they were preparing to go hunting. They headed through the tall grass and into the cornfield. I am surprised I haven't seen them on trailcam as it sits about 15yds away on a creek crossing. At any rate I feel fortunate to have seen three at one time considering I have never seen one alive before this.

I should also mention the deer were moving starting about 5pm. I was in my stand around 3pm. From 5pm to closing time they were definitely on their feet.

Slightly jealous you are in a stand already, even if it was just a scouting trip. Weatherman this morning said Monday we should expect a low of 48 degrees...this is also something worth getting excited about.

Hopefully we can expect this for early duck season, it might actually be exciting then
