Throwing it at 'em

I decided to head to the pond a little after 8 pm tonight. Usually the twilight can be good fishing. Started out throwing a lead head jig with a plastic minnow body. Caught a bunch of small bass and one decent bluegill. The biggest bass I caught hit on a smaller bass that I was reeling in, the little one got off and the hook got the bigger one.:way: Had a couple of other swirls when pulling in small fish, but only the one hook up.

Right at sunset, decided to change to a Rapala floating minnow. Kind of shocked to catch a bluegill and a channel cat with it.

It's cool you can get fish to live in small ponds down there.
