Timid old mature bucks.

I have a 5 plus year old buck on a property that I hunt quite often. He doesn't like to be grunted at or rattled at. Most times he ll just turn and walk away. He pretty much runs the show on this property.
How do ya hunt a buck like this??

If he shys away he doesn't run the show. I would be patient and quiet and hunt where the does are.

He does run the show. I've seen him run off countless bucks. He just don't respond to me. Probably right. About hunting the does.

Get in a funnel and wait

Like others have said get in a main funnel or doe bedding area. If he's running all the other bucks off try a decoy in an open area and stay quiet. I got an old buck like 7 1/2 + on a place I hunt and if you grunt at him he'll take off the other way. Just gotta be patient and hope a doe brings him by. Good luck

May run the show, and must be smart or experienced enough to know the difference between deer and hunters. If he is a regular, does he keep a pattern? Stick with the does, and he should show sometime. Buck decoy could work too.
