Towering Brows

Wow those are some huge brow tines! The longest brow tines i've ever seen on a buck was a ten pointer that had brow tines as long as his G-3's. I am guessing his brow tines were 9-10 inches long. Those in that pic are incredible!
 
I had never seen anything like that until this year when I took the buck in my avatar. 28.5 total inches of brow tine.
 
Iron, that is great to hear man. That buck is a hammer for sure. Congrats. again on the harvest.

Who's pictures are these? I hope they are yours and you post him in the harvest forum next season. That makes anything I have every taken look unworthy. What an unbelievable pig.
 
No, these deer were photographed in Illinois @ The Bottoms You should check out there site they have some real giants.
 
I believe that's the big eight that was on the Wild Outdoors t.v show a few years back. The guide said there was only 1 buck on the farm that couldn't be shot. But they hadn't seen him but a few times in 2 or 3 yrs. Well that day he came in and messed around at twenty yards for a long time. I believe a different guide took that buck the following year 04' maybe. I think he went high eighties or nineties as an eight point.

That second picture is actually from the cameraman on the Wild Outdoors. Great show and the hunter showed a lot of poise not to shoot that buck.

That has got to be the biggest eight pt. I have ever seen.
 
I think that I have that videoo now that you talk about it. That would have been on Jay Gregory's Most Wanted video this year right?
 
Not real sure. I saw it on his t.v show. If anybody knows what video it's on PLEASE POST... That was one of my favorite hunts.
