I've been using my trail cam since summer. During the last heavy snow I had my cam set up on my powerline and had 27 pics. I got them developed and only a couple does and alot of big snow flakes. I guess those big flakes will activate the laser. Anyone else have this problem?

Snow shouldnt set the sensor off. What brand of camera do you have? When the temps get lower the sensitivity on most cameras goes up. More than likely soemthing 60-80 feet out was causing it to go off. Thats my guess anyway.

Never had any problems with snow. Was it windy? One thing to avoid is mounting your camera on a small tree that could sway in the wind, you can get full roll of pictures of nothing but scenery.
