Trail Camera Survey

ANYBODY WHO CONSIDERS HIMSELF A DEER HUNTER IS FOOLISH NOT TO INVEST IN RUNNING A CAMERA LINE---NOW. CAMERAS ARE RETAILING FOR AS LOW AS 89.99, THATS CHEAPER THAN ONE GOOD STAND, WORKS ALL YEAR FOR YOU AND IS ADDICTIVE AS HUNTING IF NOT MORE SO...

I still consider myself a deer hunter even though I do not plan to spend time and resources on this kind of stuff. Perhaps I am foolish but I still enjoy developing some natural skills. Where is the challenge when we know all the answers ahead of time? Maybe the day of the romantic hunter is gone

WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE CAMER FOR $89.99. I HAVE BEEN
THINKING ABOUT GETTING ONE AND THIS MIGHT JUST GET ME STARTED.
THANKS
HUSKERBUCK

I've had my camtrakker for 5 years now, it has made hunting so much fun to say it gives an unfair advantage, I don't know if I agree with that. I had a roll last year with 5 diffrent bucks on it. 3 of which I never had the chance to see last. If I didn't have the camera I would have never know they were there!! They are a great investment, it's like opening presents on christmas morning when you get that roll of film back!

A trail camera is another tool that can be used to further your knowledge about the deer in your area. It should not take the place of gaining skills about reading sign. The combination of good woodsmanship and a trail camera can increase your odds of having a close encounter with the buck of a lifetime.

Bear in mind....a house can be built with a hammer or a cordless gas nailer.

My 2 Cents....Ghost

A trail cam does nothing more than confirm your well honed skills. You gotta find the sign, then set up the camera.

I don't have one but I think I'll be giving Vman a call.

I guess I said about the same thing as Ghost Walker, which means I am one fart smucker.

BW, there is nothing wrong with your method. Cameras are fun but I hear what you're saying. To each their own.

These results to date have surprised me. 40% have zero, 40% have one and only 20% have 2 or more. I thought there were trail cam junkies than there are.

well lets see, what do i have.
Three 35mm's. One digital and one video unit. Yep Im hooked. They are a great source of amusement thats for sure. Of course the bad thing is when you walkout to the stand, check the digital for new pics and relize that you are hunting that spot one day too late. Oh well, couda, shouda, woulda.

VMan, Were your ears burning today? I went to put out the latest cam from you and it wouldn't work.

I put in a new 9 volt and still nothing. Came home and was getting ready to email you when I decided to put in new cam batteries. Hum...works now!

The old camera batts huh, bet i sent it with some old ones in it that i was using for testing. The cheapscates at Canon raised their prices and left out the complimentary batts to. Oh well glad you got it figured out
