Ya, that doe - I have three yrs of pics of her. She would shed them too and start new the next yr.

That's fascinating. Did she often produce spring fawns?? I shot a velvet "doe" in October 2019. I found "her" sheds from the year before (which many told me she wouldn't have shed them) but I always wondered if she ever produced any fawns. I sent her teeth into Matson's lab and they told me she was 15.5 years old!

First yr I noticed her she was alone but i think she was young. She raised a fawn each of the next two yrs. She's not the only antlered doe we've had around. A friend of my son shot one here a few years back and I euro'd it for him. I freeze dried the velvet to preserve it.

The only wolf I've ever got a pic of, a litter of fox kits and a buncha bear pics. Bears are one species that don't have a problem with the harsh Saskatchewan winters, ha.

Check out the time stamp with this wolf following a doe then turns around when the he hears the camera.
