transferrable landowner tags

I own 70 acres in NE Iowa. I was wondering if I could transfer a couple of my deer tags to out of state guys that did not get drawn. Anybody have any idea or know who I could call for this information?

Not possible in Iowa. Kansas but not Iowa.

As posted earlier in Iowa you can't transfer tags. Iowa law states that no resident or nonresident may carry, use or have in their possession a license or transportation tag issued to another person.

I think you have to be a resident landowner in KS to get tranfer tags. I don't know how they handle nonresident landowners.
