Tree Lounge Stand

I am thinking seriously of purchasing a Tree Lounge tree stand. Does anyone out there have any input for me before I shell out the bucks? I hunt with a bow and handgun. Thanks a bunch, Ron

Whenever someone asks about this stand half the people love them due to their comfort & half hate them or are afraid to get them due to the weight and how far from the tree you are when you stand up. Personally I've been tempted to try one but if you look at the video you are quite a ways away from the tree. Also, it's a pretty good chunk of change to lay out. Maggs

I bought one of the Tree Lounges last year the new ones are somewhat lighter than the old one. I have made the comment that this stand is not for everyone. But I would not go with out it it's so comfortable I can stay on stand for hours. I shot my deer this year sitting down. And it does take some getting use to being father away from the tree when you stand and it can give you a little bounce. I would also say that it seems kind of noisey when you are putting it together to climb but I've gotten better at this. Make sure you wear the safety harness and pratice at home first.

Like all stands it has it's pros and cons. I have two and have had them for many, many years. They are a littel bigger than some set stands for the early bow season but a better stand would be hard to find if comfort is what your after. They weigh a bit more too, but the comfort and length of time spent in stand more than make up for the extra weight. I like mine alot......
