Tree Stand Umbrellas???

Wednesday and thursday I see there calling for rain. First warm weather now this. Rain doesnt usually bother me for a few hours, but all day in the stand will. I was wondering who has all tried the tree umbrellas and what the results were. Thinking of buying one but dont know if they really work or not. The thing that worries me is the rain hitting the roof and what the sound would be like, or wond gusts blowing them off. Any advice would be great.

I thought they were a gimmick, but someone gave me one once and I think they are truly useful and am glad I have it now. Now then, a strong wind will make it tough to keep in place and/or quiet, but a soft rain is well deflected by one of these devices.

Go for it, they are well worth it, just make sure to place it high enough that it doesn't interfere with your bow when you go to shoot.

I've got one and I've used it only once about 3 years back. Did a pretty good job of keeping me dry.
Mine has some ties that you can tighten it to the tree so it doesn't flap to much.
