Simply base on the images in that like I'd keep shopping. Buy a Long Wolf Alpha and four sticks to go with it and you can go anywhere.

I have sat in them and helped put up others in the past as they preferred to leave them up in the tree and use steps. Big, bulky, and cumbersome. I will say they are very comfortable. I agree with Ironwood get the Lone Wolf hang on and 4 steps and you won't regret it.

If you're asking about the Lone Wolf, it's so easy even a girl can do it.

ok..lol i meant the tree lounge..but i will check out them other ones..how do you get them into a tree..do you hook it up at bottom and climb up?

I fell into the Treelounge trap and did not like it. IMO you are to far away from the tree when you stand up. It was not to safe feeling even with a harness. Mine promptly got returned

ok that just turned me away from them..may get the ground stand since im just starting out then ill look into getting a lone wolf

Get what you like, but I think many on here will agree that unless you have a blind hunting from the ground for whitetails is difficult. If you have a blind however go for it. If not get a stand, get elevated 15-20ft. this gives you a better vantage point to see from and you can get away with a little movement.

id like to get a stand.. ill be hunting more then likely public land..has im just starting out..just trying to get has much info has possiable..i thought about a blind or maybe a lader stand..being high up like with a treestand or a ladder stand looks like it would be fun

If you were willing to drop some cash for the tree lounge, a lone wolf stand is pretty close in price based on the last I checked. Much better stand and much more versatile.

Lone Wolf.... Unless you like Margie's style of hunting (or whatever her name is)... I wouldn't buy one on the principles of the owners alone!

Since you are hunting public land I would stick to something light and portable. Climbing stands are great for that purpose. Lone Wolf, API, or Summits are great climbers. If you want to pack in a hang on stand with a set of steps Lone Wolf would be the way to go.

We can't use climbers where I live, trees just don't cooperate very well (hedge, hackberry, walnut, etc.). I've tried several different hang-on stands; and unless buying something cheap to put up and leave all season (walmart gorilla the way to go there...) I'll never buy anything again but a lone wolf alpha. GREAT stand -- these guys convinced me three years ago and they were right. Listen to them.

lone wolf alpha hang on , 4 sticks, and you can go anywhere. in and out of a tree in less then 10 minutes. lite and easy to pack in and out of the wood`s
