Treestands for a crooked tree

Hey everyone, I have the perfect location for a treestand. An old logging road on a shelf, on the side of a ridge. Lots of deer activity. The only problem is there are no straight trees around. There is a good one close by, but it has some angle to it. Enough that the platform wouldn't be comfortable to stand on. I only use hang on stands, no climbers. Most of the stands i have now are API stands.

What all manufacturers out there make adjustable stands for crooked trees?

Climax stands come to mind first, but I don't think they are made anymore. The link below takes you to a different manufacturer's version of them, looks very nice, might even be a better product.

Can you build permanent stands on that property? Maybe a leaner tree has a good crotch up high that you could build in. I'm sure you have thought about it...just a thought in case you hadn't.

I don't know much for adjustable stands, but I think Lone Wolf has some kind of stand adjustment system.

This guy had two Bear River Miles Keller adjustable stands for sale a year ago on the other site I hang out at, jesseshunting.com.

Have no idea if that's still his email or if they're still available.

Lone Wolfs work for me like Shredder mentioned. If there's a big tree near the area you are picking to hang, I can get a Lone Wolf set up anywhere, take both straps for top and bottom, can't see how you'd go wrong (maybe also get a ratchet strap).

Iowabucks,
They ain't cheap but Swivel Limbs kick BUTT. I used to have one of the orginals from the late 80's/early 90's. Back then, it was just a seat, no platform was offered so you had to mount them over a limb for foot support. Looks like they make them way better now. PERFECT for these situations. I sold mine a few years back on ebay and I'm thinking strongly about getting one of the new ones. Links below:

You might want to look at the Muddy Outdoors stands - they are now a sponsor of this site....very similar offset adjustments to the Lone Wolf.

crooked trees

there is a treestand that will go in any crooked tree with ease, twisted timber treestands! levels to trees that lean sideways and back there awesome!!!

treestand for crooked trees

the twisted timber treestand would be a great stand, for the spot with no straight trees! They hang in any tree, find the right spot and hunt there secure and level!!! I heard there like the buckfinder stand from a few years back. thanks slick
