Iowa Boy At Heart
This is a photo I took back in January 2007 at my brother-in-law's ranch near Laredo, TX. I was flipping through some old photos and thought I would share this one with the group. Its certainly not a trophy by any means, just one of those photos you don't realize what you just captured until later, when you're relaxing and reviewing. I had been watching this deer for a while and noticed the cool reflection in the puddle at just the right angle, so I grabbed my camera and took the photo, focusing on the puddle. It wasn't until I reviewed my photo later that i realized what I had captured. Looking at the deer, you can't tell it's a spike, but look at his reflection.
