Tru glo Xtreme sight

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this sight I was looking at it in the shop the other day and man is it bright! It has .19 and they seem even a bit smaller than that. From holding it, it feels like a well made piece of equipment but I was wondering how it holds up in the field?

I had one for a couple years now. I opted for the tooless model. Good construction. I didn't like the 19 pins either. TO small for my tired eyes. Only dislike I had was the optional light was to sensitive to turn off/on.

They are bright for sure. I agree that the light is very sensitive to turn on and off. I also noticed it rattles if you screw the light out to much. I wish they would protect the fibers better too.

so would you guys reccomend staying away from them? What About the Viper sights I really like the looks of those too. I know the spot hoggs are a great sight too.

IMO if your looking for a good solid sight that's bright and that protects your fibers. Copper John and Toxonics are both great sights and affordable.

You'll notice on the Tru Glo's that there is a gap in between your pin and the fiber. A lot of companies went to a steel pin that's curved and the fiber lays right up against that. It's very easy to bump brush or whatever when pulling your bow up or carrying through the woods and with that gap it doesn't take much to snap the fiber. Just my .02
