TruFire Thumb Release

I just recently bought a TruFire Thumb Release, to test it out compared to my wrist release and I love it! I was getting tired of constantly adjusting my wrist release and having it out of place. I also like how instead of it acting like a trigger and just snapping open, it gradually opens for more of a suprise release.

Another neat thing about these releases is you just let them hang on your bow instead of worrying about hooking it up to your bow while a deer is in your area. Not that this made a huge factor in my decision. But...

I was just wondering if anybody had anything to say about these release in a good or bad sense. So far, I'm a fan!

I am assuming you are talking about the 3D Hunter. I am presently still shooting fingers but if or when I switch, I am thinking that the t-handle/thumb style will be an easier conversion since you still draw and hold with your fingers. I am interested in hearing from other users of this and other thumb releases. Thanks for the post.

I use a thumb release and love it. There have been times where it has been lost and I have had to use my brothers wrist release and I didn't like the wrist near as much as I do the thumb.

thumb release forces good form.
you will shoot more consistent with one
