Turkey Question

Ok, I have a question for anyone who knows. I'm going to hunt this year with a gun; I know there is a maximum of 2 licenses I can buy, for 2 different seasons. The question is... If someone were to accompany somebody on their hunt, during a season they don't have a tag for, and not carry a weapon, just go to watch, that is legal isn't it? I would think it is, but I want to make sure.

Without checking the rules and regs I think that it's illegal, but a CO would have to be a giant wang to write up a person who was just watching. This question comes up about every year, I'm 99% sure that it's "technically" illegal.

Dwilk,
If he has a license and tag for a different season he can go with you and even call with you.

What about if you were tagging along to video the hunt and already filled your tag or didn't have a tag for that season?

As long as you have a tag for any season, you can go with anyone you want during any season, even just to watch or call. You just need to have a tag.

OH, I misread that. If the guy has a tag he's good to go, I thought they were just tagging along to see what it's all about and didn't have a license or tag.

my bad

O.K. beens it hasnt been brought up, if he is a out of stater, he can only "help"/"Hunt" in the season he bought a tag for, but
if a resident, if he bought a tag for any of the seasons, he can "help" for all of the seasons.
