Turkey Skinz

Anybody tried these things? They look pretty good to the eye but they seem like they'd be rather delicate, not to mention expensive at $40 a pop!

I checked them out and I thought they looked a little mickey mouse, JMO but I don't think that they would be worth that kinda money.

I bought one a couple of weeks ago. I can't wait to try it!

Seems to be pretty good quality. I tried pulling on some feathers and they didn't come off. Obviously, you have to be a little more careful with them since they are actual turkey feathers.

$40 is not a lot when you compared it to the price of a mounted hen.

after seeing the reaction difference between real turkeys and actual mounts and real turkeys and fake lookin foam, i gotta believe the realitic look of the Skinz will help!

essentially they add depth and more of a 3rd demensional view!

good luck, im sure you will like them!

I'll have a report next Monday or Tuesday. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif We'll see if Nebraska birds like them.

Personally I think they look awesome, especially in sunlight and a little wind. That natural irridescent glow off the feathers and then the wind moving them around a bit? Gobblers gunna roll this spring.

Well, I will be interested in the reports. I am always looking for the upper hand. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Muddy, are you going to put those on your bobbin head decoys?
