Tusked pigs on the loose !!

I went shed hunting the other day and found out a big russian boar was shot next to the woods I hunt in. A neighbor is offering Elk, goat, and boar hunts so I suspect one or more of the boars dug their way to freedom. There have been some spotted roaming around also. I carry a 22-250 with for yotes but I think I'll switch to something with a little more punch for those walking pork roast's...

I own the only vehicle in Iowa to have run over a Russian boar (correct me if I'm wrong!). I bought it from my mother-in-law, and she ran over the boar just outside of Montour, Iowa. Seems that a similiar escape happened. The boar was already road kill, as it was hit by a semi in front of her. If you are going to raise something with a high risk of escape, hogs gotta be it!

In thirty year it will be like the wild turkey success story. Free pork chops every where for residents and the out of State licenses will be hundreds of dollars. This could fix our budget troubles. LOL
