WHAT A MORNING! My dad, brother, friend, and I went out this morning and returned with two toms. We set up under the birds and waited. About a half an hour after they flew down they finally came in. My brother, Jay Hoch, shot his at 5 yards in the head. Then once he shot his, the other tom started to pounce on him. My friend, Larry Newendorp, then took a shot at and him and nailed him. This was one of the most exciting turkey hunts ever. Even though i didnt get one. Going out all week this week let you know if i get one. What a fun morning.
Jays: 20.5 lbs, 9.25 inch, and 1 inch spurs. Larry's: 21.5 lbs, 10.5 inch, and 1.25 inch spurs.
